"Hofburg Castle"
- "Hofburg Castle" Dept. 56 Alpine Village Item #56216. Introduced 2000 and retired 2002. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Entrance sign and curved stairway with scalloped railing. Three turret flags are separate in the box. Size: 8" x 6" x 11". Thousands of castles were built in medieval times, but none with the charm and splendor of this one. From the conical-shaped watchtowers and the knight in shining armor standing guard at the front entry hall, to the crenellated wall winding along the steps, this palace is a fairy tale come true.
