- "Empire State Building" Dept. 56 Christmas In The City Historical Landmark Series Item #59207. Introduced 2003 and retired 2005. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Cardboard sleeve has fixed tears (used clear paper glue not unsightly tape). At 23.5 inches this is the tallest building manufactured by Department 56. It features several holiday lighting effects, including blueish/white, green and red colors in detachable top section that operate each color on or off on a 4 position pushbutton switch. There are 2 large white interior building bulbs and 8 very realistic yellow spotlights located around the top part of the bulding and shine up to illuminate the exterior. It has four American flags that are separate in the box. Size: 8.25" x 5.75" x 23.5".
