In 1923 Clara and Russell Stover of Denver, Colorado, made their first candy for sale in the kitchen of their bungalow home. The candies were called Mrs. Stover's Bungalow Candies. Today Mrs. Stover is remembered for the creation of a successful business, her work on the candy recipes and the designs of the original retail stores.
