- "The Red Lion Pub" Dept. 56 Dickens Village Item #58715. Limited to Year 2004 Production. This was Dickens'Village 20th Anniversary Series and includes the pin. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. According to E.W.F. Tomlin, "London was the heart and soul of the Dickens' world ... he loved the intricate streets, the jumbled tenements, the little city churches ... "Dickens often walked the cobblestone lanes for inspiration. He is said to have visited this pub (a term coined by the Victorians, an abbreviation for public house). To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Dickens' Village Series, this Special Edition includes a collectible pin, and a bust of the famous novelist on the facade. Size: 5" x 4.5" x 8.75".
