"Laurel Hill Church"


- "Laurel Hill Church" New England Village Dept. 56 Item #56629. Introduced 2000 and retired 2003. This church is the first to include a cemetary. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. The headstones are designed differently as well as being easily readable. The born/died dates go from 1723 thru 1820. When traveling in New England, the impressive bell tower of a church is often one's first hint that there is a little Village waiting behind the hills. Designed and build by the congregation, this church is not only a place of worship, but it serves as a meeting and social hall as well. The heavy wooden doors are closed, could it be the service is about to begin.
