"Old North Church"


- "Old North Church" Dept. 56 New England Village Item #59323. Introduced 1988 and retired 1998. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Red brick church. First and second floor windows feature sunburst and/or spoke tops. Steeple rises from main entry. Belfry has tiered design. This church is based on the famous historic landmark, Christ Church in Boston, where sexton Robert Newman hung lanterns in its steeple to warn colonists in Charlestown of the British advance. Size: 4.25" x 7" x 11"
