- North Pole Village "Elfin Forge & Assembly Shop" It was introduced 1995 and retired 1998. Dept56 item #56384. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. North Pole folks make all the necessary iron works at the forge. Steps lead up to entry that connects two building wings. The forge furnaces are housed in the three-story building with the tall furnace pipes. Design and assembly takes place in attached turret, with finished product exiting through large double doors. Display Note: Since this house has a double light cord included, you can get real steel burning effect by using 2 flicker flame bulbs inside.
