"The Elf Spa"
- North Pole Village "The Elf Spa" It was introduced 1998 and retired 2001. Dept56 item #56402. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Elf Land - This double onion domed building has a separate spa, sauna and outdoor pool for hard working elves. One day Santa brought in a specialized doctor who studied the elfin physique in medical school. Santa wanted the elves to have checkups to keep them in tiptop shape for maximum work efficiency. The doctor's final report was thumbs up, but he told Santa the elves needed more exercise. Thus "The Elf Spa" was designed, complete with hot tub and towel service. This is the companion building for "Party In The Hot Tub" accessory.
