- "Glass Ornament Works" North Pole Dept. 56 Item #56396. Introduced 1997 and retired 2003. Glass blown, silvered and painted ornaments are made in this special shop. They also decorate the front of the building creating a festive design. The bright red and green painted trim of the shop is enhanced by the garlands and evergreen boughs. Size: 7.75 x 5 x 8" Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve.
