- "The Good Shepherd & His Animals" Dept. 56 Little Town Of Bethlehem set of 6, Item #59791. Introduced 1999 and retired 2005. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Shepherds were known for the care they provided for their flocks. Often they would carry young sheep over their shoulders throughout the rugged terrain to safety. This peaceful shepherd and his livestock travel to see the nativity.
