Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Notre Dame is one of the finest examples of French gothic architecture. The western facade is the cathedral's most well-known feature, and is recreated in this porcelain replica. The facade is divided into three distinct levels. At the base are three entranceways, with the King's Gallery running above them. The middle is dominated by the circular West Rose Window. The top third features the Galerie des Chimieres, from which rise the north and south towers.
-- It features Display Anywhere Lighting which runs on 4 'AA' batteries (not included). The box indicates that it also will work with a remote control (not included). On the back of the facade building are paragraphs of important historical information about Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris.
