- "Spice & Copper Vendor's Colonnade" Dept. 56 Little Town Of Bethlehem set of 3, Item #59913. Introduced 2001 and retired 2005. During Roman times, colonnaded market places were popular with merchants and vendors who would hawk their wares from the shade it provided. Copper was widely used throughout the Holy Land while spices were imported from India, Arabia, Egypt, Persia and other countries. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Size: 9.25" x 5.5" x 7.75".
