- "Town Gate" Dept. 56 Little Town Of Bethlehem accessory set of 2, Item #59794. Introduced 1999 and retired 2001. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. A women transports a water vessel as she approaches the gate to the holy town. This town gate, modeled after an actual gate in the wall surrounding Bethlehem, is key to the ancient town's landscape. Gates provided travelers with their first chance to encounter the town inhabitants. Size: 6.5" x 5.5"
