- "Country Church" Dept. 56 Snow Village Item #50047. Introduced 1976 and retired 1979. One of the "Original 6." Also known as "Wayside Chapel." Vines and painted welcome on walls, short-spired, door ajar, circular upper window, painted side windows, snow-laden tree shades one wall. Mint condition piece in original box. Noteable: Authentic Department 56 piees have hand-lettered signs. If they appear "rubber-stamped," they are not Department 56.
